भाद्रपदातील अनंत चतुर्दशीच्या दिवशी अनंताची पूजा केली जाते. ऐश्वर्य प्रदान करणाऱ्या या पूजेसाठी महत्त्वाचा पवित्र धागा म्हणजे अनंत धागा होय. हातात बांधून पुढील अनंत चतुर्दशीला विसर्जित केला जातो.
